What happens when we look into the deep night and recognise ourselves through singing?
The soul is like an aviary full of birds. It is a place where movement, colours, shifting air and intentions become the flesh of what has been, of what grows, mutates, fades, turns into ghosts.
Chiara Bersani is an Italian performer and author active in the Performing Arts, research theatre and contemporary dance. Both as performer and as director/choreographer she moves through different languages and visions. Her works, presented in international circuits, originate as creations in dialogue with different spaces and are mainly addressed to an audience ‘close’ to the stage. Her research as performer and author is based on the concept of the Political Body and the creation of practices aimed at training presence and action.
The performance is accompanied by a project to make this show accessible to blind and visually impaired audiences through live audio poetic descriptions in dialogue with the artist. Curated by Camilla Guarino and Giuseppe Comuniello.
