In the post-human scenarios of “a world to come”, where Hecuba’s barks echo, man and animal are inside one another
We enter the post-human scenarios of ‘a world to come’ where Hecuba’s barks/words echo after the defeat of Troy and her dramatic deportation. Hecuba is the black bitch with sharp teeth: we see her leaping, writhing, coming into the light before our eyes to try to communicate with the circle of ‘humans’ in a ‘minority language’. Man and animal do not even need to metamorphose, because they are inside one another, by mixing and getting into contact.
