A sound experiment capable of reinventing the value of language, winner of the PERFORMATIVE 03 Prize
Self-reversing, curated by Sibilla Panerai, stages the ghosts of hysteria, recovering and enhancing female vocality through a sound experiment capable of reinventing the value of language. In her research on popular texts, the artist interprets one of the songs in Canti e racconti dei contadini d’Abruzzo by anthropologist Omerita Ranalli.
Olga Kozmanidze (1985) is an interdisciplinary artist of Russian origin who lives and works between Berlin and Pescara. Her artistic research, which ranges between performance art, experimental music and sound art, focuses on sound and the body.
