What would happen if the clothes that accompanied childhood became part of the future?

Kaarina Kaikkonen, internationally renowned Finnish artist, invites you to participate in a collective project that brings together memory, hope, and community.
With the work Towards Tomorrow, the artist will transform used clothes in sizes ranging from 0 to 5 years into a site-specific installation symbolizing the connection between the past and the future, merging our personal experiences with a collective vision.
Starting from March 13th, t-shirts, onesies, blouses, in any color and shape, will be collected at the Museum. On May 16th, the work will be presented in preview, anticipating the opening of the next exhibition project at MAXXI L’Aquila titled True Colors. Fabrics, Movement, Colors, and Identity. Afterwards, the clothes will be donated, reused, and redistributed.
