event in Italian
An event dedicated to Ai Qing, one of the leading contemporary Chinese poets.
There is a form of memory that goes beyond mere recollection to become testimony, responsibility and resistance. Taking Ai Qing’s life story and historical context as our starting point, we will explore how her poetry gives voice to the experience of an entire era. A legacy that her son, Ai Weiwei, transforms into artistic practice, turning memory into a tool for protest, freedom and dialogue with the present.
