As the sun sets, the Museum courtyard comes alive with sound. PERFORMATIVE 06 begins with music.
On the evening of Friday 11 September, the sixth edition of our Festival, dedicated to all the performing arts, officially kicks off. To begin with, we have chosen music with a performance by Giorgio Battistelli, The Battle of the Horatii and the Curiatii, in which voice, body and percussion bring the famous duel to life, drawing inspiration from the themes of war and conflict.
And straight afterwards, let’s all immerse ourselves in the live set by Metonimia – Collettivo Orbeat, Contiguo, continuo, for a circular sound experience, in which sound and forms overlap and follow one another in an uninterrupted flow.
