From the burning landfills in Ghana and arriving at the textile district of Prato, we embark on a journey that leads us to discover the hidden journey of used clothing.

The documentary explores the crucial role of textile recycling, starting from the ancient tradition of the Prato district. The film shows how used clothing, or “rags”, are not waste but a valuable raw material that can be regenerated into new, high-quality fabrics, giving rise to a virtuous circular economy.

The title is part of the new edition of the SUGGESTIONI film festival, dedicated to the True Colors exhibition, in collaboration with the L’Aquila Film Festival.
