We are looking for young participants to take part in a new performance by artist Francesca Grilli!
15 children aged between 9 and 12 will be able to take part in a workshop held at the museum with the artist, from 11 to 16 September and become the protagonists of a performance that will take place on Friday 17 September at 07:00pm in the courtyard of MAXXI L’Aquila, on the occasion of the International Festival Performative01. The workshop is led by the artist behind the project, with the support of poet Azzurra D’Agostino and a Museum educator: there will be hours of play, sharing and imaginative learning. Through reading, creative writing and some physical and choreographic exercises, participants will be taught a skillful observation of the hand – as a support and contact between generations – as an expression of imagination and desires. During the performance, children pick and accompany adults individually in a space where they can read their palm. Parents give in to childhood and this leads the game, establishing its rules and creativity, following the artist’s wish.
During the workshop and performance social distance rules will be followed.
Fill in the form below by 6 September!
Free entry open to a maximum of 15 children.
