From 2015 to the present, artist Michela De Mattei has been interacting via Skype with Estée Lauder, an Indian Blackbird from Gloucester. This relationship has led to the creation of four video works:How to speak like president (2015), Adapting(2016),The fear of mistakes(2016), Hypnosis session (2018).

On this occasion, the artist meets the bird Mynah in person and adds a new animated chapter, continuing to explore the possible connections between man/animal, conscious/unconscious.

Michela De Mattei’s project, visible in the physical spaces of the Museum and on the metaverse art space platform ARIUM.xyz, offers the viewer an ambiguous and enigmatic point of view on unprecedented relationships.
