An experiment of words, music and dance
Inspired by the recent publication of the book Sotto la Montagna Sopra la Montagna , a publication by Margherita Morgantin published by Nottetempo and the activity of the author both as an artist and as a teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts in L’Aquila, the con-formance SABER is a fluid articulation of words, reasoning, sounds and danced presences.
SABRE (Sodium Iodide with Active Background Rejection) is the title of an experiment that takes place in the LNGS nuclear physics laboratories below the Gran Sasso. A cosmic/geographical verification of several signals captured that would be compatible with obscure matter becomes a symbolic form and the search for dialogue between different areas of knowledge. A textual score intersects with audio signals and a hermetic dance in collaboration with Roberta Mosca (dancer and performer) and Martina Raponi (soundmaker and researcher).
The artwork is part of the project VIP = Violation of the Pauli exclusion principle SOTTO LA MONTAGNA, SOPRA LA MONTAGNA, made possible thanks to the support of the Italian Council (8th Edition 2020) produced by Xing
