In a hyper-technological metropolis where nature has been completely eradicated to make way for digital efficiency, little Leo leads a life governed by algorithms and screens.

Everything changes when Leo discovers Arco, hidden in the city’s underground tunnels: a prototype biological robot capable of generating plant life through touch. The two form a deep bond, secretly beginning to sow small green oases in the grey urban spaces, defying the strict control of the city authorities. Their mission transforms not only the landscape but also the hearts of the inhabitants, reawakening forgotten emotions and a desire for freedom. However, the powerful corporation that runs the city sees Arco as a threat to its order and launches an unprecedented manhunt. A touching story about the power of genuine bonds and the importance of protecting the beauty of our planet.

The film is part of a programme that explores the primordial bond between human beings and the ecosystem, portraying nature not as something to be observed, but as something to be embraced. Four films chart a path towards reconciliation through the eyes of the “Other”.

Under the patronage of the Municipality of L’Aquila and with the support of ALES. In collaboration with the L’Aquila Film Festival.
