Meeting with the Ukrainian artists which took part in the residencies in Fontecchio<\/span><\/h3>\n

An opportunity to hear directly from the voice of one of the curators and the artists involved in the project about the experience and relationship with the place and the community that welcomed them, within such a characteristic artistic and cultural context as that of Fontecchio.
\nThe presentation of the resident artists’ works and projects\u2013a result of their work in dialogue with the territory\u2013was commissioned by the Museum and can be visited on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 March<\/strong> at the Saint Francis Convent in Fontecchio.<\/p>\n

The residency programme dedicated to Ukrainian artists, which began in September 2022, has offered hospitality and work spaces in the medieval village of Fontecchio, in the province of L’Aquila; in recent years the village has focused on culture as an engine for redevelopment through the crucial involvement of its citizens.<\/p>\n
