Casolaro chooses to shoot the film on New Year&#8217;s Eve: a night of balance sheets, good intentions and renewed hope. According to the artist&#8217;s thinking, poetry is the only thing we have left after destruction, ruin, and defeat: poetry is the material from which to begin rebuilding hope. Therefore, he concludes the video by wishing for rebirth: &#8220;Rebuild L&#8217;Aquila, for those who have been left in darkness since April 6, 2009.
