ITALICS<\/em><\/strong>, the first national network bringing together seventy of the most authoritative contemporary, modern and ancient art galleries, brings the third edition of Panorama to L’Aquila<\/strong>.
\nThe widespread travelling exhibition brings together multiple eras, styles, techniques and thoughts in art itineraries that lead to the discovery of the most authentic and least known aspects of our country.
\nCristiana Perrella<\/strong>‘s exhibition project for Panorama L’Aquila stems from the evocative term wit(h)nessing<\/strong>, coined by the feminist theorist, artist and psychoanalyst Bracha L. Ettinger<\/strong> with the intention of extending the concept of testimony, understood both as an affirmation of one’s own knowledge and the transmission of a history.
\nMAXXI L’Aquila is the venue for some of the artistic interventions in the programme and \u2013like the other venues\u2013 is not simply a “container” of works but a generator of content in its own right, capable of extending the exhibition and making it benefit from the fertile relationship with the city’s cultural fabric and its long tradition.<\/p>\n
